Summary0001862: [Smart3][OS12] SKB requested to sign Google webview to the manufacturer key again
DescriptionHi Jason

SKB requested to sign Google webview to the manufacturer key again
https://jira.skbroadband.com/browse/FSTB12-122
This method is in violation Google requirements, but SKB manager is requesting a test for this first.
and he requested the same to INTEK and INNOPIA
And this method will be retested on UI542 (OS12+VCS+Netflix) branch which will be created soon.

first, we have to review the contents,
So please apply the following items based on the v15.537.72 version
 - remove custom webview
 - Re-sign google webview to manufacturer key
 - Forced delete if google webview is installed after update
 - Please use the FW version as v15.537.735 (SD usb upgrade file)

Regarding the webview with above FW, please check if there is a fail in the Google test item

Thank you
YK.Jung

Hi YK,

Did you inform SKB that this request violate the requirement?
I don't see this the information on Jira.

Thanks,
Jason

Hi YK,

Our sales already know this request. because we also have other customers, To keep our partnership with Google, any behavior that violates Google's requirements is not allowed.
So even though it's a test firmware, we don't take the time to process this request.

Thanks,
Jason
